1. Overview

MorningAfter ("we", "our", or "us") operates the MorningAfter application and PWA web experience available at morningafter.app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting all personal and event data captured across our platforms.

2. Information We Collect

• Host Account Data: Name, email address, and Google OAuth profile identifiers when a host creates an account.
• Event Photos & Media: Photos taken by guests and hosts within authorized event vaults. Photos are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage.
• Camera & Device Permissions: Temporary camera hardware access requested strictly when snapping photos during an event. We do not access your device gallery or background camera feed.
• Zero-Guest Registration: Guests do NOT need to create accounts, provide emails, or submit personal data to snap event photos.

3. How We Use Information

Your data is used solely to provide the disposable event camera experience:

• To assemble and store shared event photo albums.
• To enforce event privacy settings selected by the host (Private, Moderated, or Public).
• To release time-locked albums after event completion.
• We NEVER sell, rent, or monetize user data or photos to third parties.

4. Privacy Modes & Host Controls

Hosts control album visibility through three distinct privacy modes:

• Private (Host Only): Only the event host can view and download photos. Albums are locked to guests.
• Moderated (Post-Event): Photos remain locked until the reveal timer expires, after which guests with the event link can view photos.
• Public (Shared): Live album visible immediately to event attendees with the link.
